I can’t believe how quickly Christmas has come around, it feels only like yesterday that I was writing about the summer sale bargains at The Dressing Room! I was lucky enough (again!) to get a sneaky peek at some of the items going on sale, now I know your inbox is probably full of sale emails but save something back for The Dressing Room sale, you should find something a bit special with them. Here are the pieces I was sent to try out and I did get to keep my favourite piece, can you guess what that was…
American Vintage Tulsa Jacket
If you read my blog regularly you will know I’m a massive fan of this brand. When I first pulled this jacket out I thought the pattern was a bit ‘out there‘ for me, but once on I loved it! It’s so versatile; it can be worn with skinny or boyfriend jeans but I decided to style it with favourite pencil skirt I bought in Reiss a couple of years ago. I added an American Vintage tee that I bought on my visit to The Dressing Room for a pop of colour. This is a cool meeting friendly outfit for me, I loved it!
Great Plains – By The Fire Drape Top & Becksondergaard Blurred Leo Scarf
I have said it before on here but a girl can never have too many grey tops! They just go with everything and this one from Great Plains is a fab buy! It’s made from really light viscose/wool mix which feels lovely on. I wore a medium in these pictures so it was nice and loose as I like my tops, it’s also nice and long which I like. The sleeves are slightly batwing with a nice draped neckline, so this is a really flattering shape. This was styled with another sale piece from The Dressing Room, a scarf from the fab brand Becksondergaard. This scarf is grey and blue with a tiny leopard print all over it. This is one of the light cotton scarves which is a great buy to take you into spring, as it’s so long you can easily snuggle up in this now. I paired this top and scraf combo with my JBrand Rail jeans and some old Adidas Stan Smiths I dug out from storage, the perfect causal outfit.
Great Plains by The Fire Top in Grey at The Dressing Room – was £40 now £24
Becksondergaard Blurred Leo Scarf in Rich Blue at The Dressing – was £33 now £13.20
Jeans – JBrand c/o The Dressing Room
Bracelet – Tokyo Jane at The Dressing Room
Sneakers – Adidas Stan Smith
Twisted Muse Sweater
Twisted Muse isn’t a brand i’am that familiar with but its a British Brand designed by Jules Copsey. This sweater is oversized and lovely and soft and the print is just a bit bonkers! This top is a viscose/linen mix and i’am wearing a medium which was a little big so it draped off the shoulders on me. As the print is so mad I paired this with plain black jeans and ankle boots.
Twisted Muse Clara Top in Moon at The Dressing Room – was £105, now £60
Jeans – Ida by Donna Ida
Boots – Topshop
Becksondergaard Silk Star Scarf
Now I wouldn’t normally buy myself a silk scarf as I prefer the massive Becksondergaard wool/silk mix scarves as they are just so snug. This scarf is a beautiful soft blue on blue silk star print, it’s just so luxurious! As it is so luxurious I went a bit glam and swapped a beanie and used this as a head scarf, with big sunglasses and a faux fur, a look I did in the bright winter sun in New York last Christmas.
Becksondergaard Silk G-Slim Scarf in Highlight Blue at The Dressing Room – was £65, now £45
Sunglasses – Victoria Beckham
Coat – Selected Femme
So there you go, these are just some of the pieces going on sale, now I don’t know when exactly the sale starts BUT if you sign up to The Dressing Room newsletter here you will be the first to know, and there may even be a Christmas surprise for newsletter subscribers!
