On Sunday I had the chance to explore Scoop International London for the third time with the Woodie & Morris team checking out what’s coming for SS15. Yes I hear you, I’m the same, I’m not yet done with SS14 and I’m not sure we have even had a proper summer yet! This is the crazy world of fashion though, I really don’t know how the hard working indies keep on top of it all, from my limited experience it feels like a full time job seeking out new and fab things for us fashion lovers to lust after. Again Scoop took place over two locations at the Saatchi Gallery at Duke of Yorks Square on the Kings Road and Phillips at Howick Place, Victoria; there were even Scoop taxis to ferry us between the two locations and a Champagne bar; fashion and Champagne go hand in hand after all.
I was a little bit disappointed again, no really new brands stood out for me but my personal favorites were Baum Und Pferdgarten. I loved just about every piece, it was just all so easy to wear, a mix of monochrome, colour and print, there was a dash of sports luxe in the collection which always gets the thumbs up from me. Baum Und Pferdgarten was new to Woodie & Morris for SS14 and it’s a brand to watch out for. The shoes from Sol Sana were just so, so cool. The ‘ugly flat‘ shoe trend isn’t going away, sliders are still big for next summer, Sol Sana have all boxes ticked with a fab range in beautiful soft leather at an excellent price point. The winter Sol Sana collection will be dropping at Woodie & Morris very soon, so I’m now excited to see the winter collection again.
I won’t bore you with all the detail on the everything but here are some of my highlights in pictures – enjoy!
Hopefully see you next time Scoop!
