These Target collaborations feel as if they are coming round very quickly!!

I still haven’t worn all the pieces I bagged from the last collaboration with Phillip Lim!!  However this time there was no sneaky, early morning, using all the tech tricks in the book to shop Target – who only allow US customers to shop on launch day and they only ship to a US address!

For the first time Net-A-Porter decided to sell the Target collection making it a lot easier for us here in the UK to bag a designer bargain, sadly Net-A-Porter didn’t have the full collection but to be honest this time I can’t face the task of shopping the Target site as well.

I had expected my normal very early Huxley wake-up call on Sunday but for once he decided to sleep in until 8am, luckily for me the collection hadn’t gone live.  So I sat snuggled on the sofa patiently refreshing my browser and finally up popped the collection.  I managed to get the sweater and sneakers I wanted but sadly the skirt I really wanted was already sold out!! I’m guessing this is Alexa Chung’s fault as she was wearing it to the launch party – boo!  I have the skirt in my wish list but I doubt it’ll come back into stock and I can’t be arsed messing about on Ebay so this time I will just have to go without.

The fab London Premier delivery service NAP offer meant I got my purchases today – YAY!

As with all Target collaborations I’m impressed by the quality for the price and even more pleased NAP didn’t hike the prices up!   This fab sweater is a size small and, as NAP stated, it’s very true to size (I take a UK 10) it’s quite a fitted style so this in a larger, oversized fit just wouldn’t look right.  The pattern is so cool, making this a very versatile sweater which will look awesome dressed up; I plan to wear it to work with a pencil skirt and heels.

If you have read my previous posts you’ll know I’m not overly keen on this skater shoe trend but as these were only £30 I had to get them.  I just love the monochrome pattern, you can’t go wrong with black and white; these will go with so much.  I love this style for the summer to wear with boyfriends, skirts or shorts.  I didn’t get the blue pattern version are they felt too similar to my Kenzo x Vans I bought last summer.  The sole on these isn’t that great and I’m not expecting these to last past this summer but at that price I don’t mind too much. I opted for a US9 which are perfect for my UK6 sized feet.

As much as I loved this collection the rest of it just isn’t very me (apart from that skirt!) but the prints are just gorgeous.  Word has it the collection didn’t have much buzz around it in the US.  Did you manage to bag anything from this collection?
