If you don’t know ‘& Other Stories’ is H&Ms ‘upmarket’ sister brand and the first UK store opened last month on Regent Street.  I have been itching to go as I like what I see from H&M but I can’t deal with the rummaging around and the store here in Guildford never has any of the decent ‘Trend’ pieces in.

I haven’t bought anything from H&M for years as I’ve struggled with the quality and the sizing seems to be all over the place.  I am very much a quality over quantity shopper.  But the pieces I have seen from “& Other Stories’ look more on a par with COS – which is a good thing, I think!

In preparation for a trip into town I’ve been browsing their site and the pieces are more to my liking than H&M but the price point for some of the pieces is about on a par, which makes me question the quality.  Anyway without heading to the store, I can’t really tell but there are quite a few bits that I like the look of.  These are my favourites so far..

& Other Stories

Top RowOcean Print Trousers – £65, Open Back Top – £29, Tubular Earrings – £12
Bottom RowLeather Mini Bag – £65, Sleeveless Shirt – £29, Box Chain Necklace – £12

Have any of you tried anything from “& Other Stories’ and am I being too harsh on H&M?

Which H&M stores do you tend to find the ‘Trend’  pieces? do let me know.

No you are not being too harsh! I have seen so many poor quality things my daughters have bought. I like Cos and get a few pieces from there and have never had a quality issue. Lots of bloggers are singing this brands praises, lets hope it lives up to the hype. x

know what you mean, as its easy to spend a small fortune in H&M and have nothing to show for it after a few washes. Will let you know what its like when I pop in x
