As today was such a glorious day weather-wise I thought I would bring out a splash of bright colour!
I had a meeting near Bond Street tube station first thing this morning so I wasn’t my normal super scruffy office self, I gave my J Crew capri crop trousers there first wear. I bought these back in January in the sale for about £29 but it hasn’t been warm enough to wear them, even though they are made from 100% very light (non-lined) wool. I love the bright orange/red and these trousers are not like anything else in my wardrobe so I wasn’t surprised to get the odd cheeky comment like ‘I could do with some of those for the golf course’ from my work colleagues.
As it was so warm today I just paired the trousers with my favourite bargain blouse from M&S Limited that I got last October, it’s quite sheer but it has lovely detailing around the collar and looks more expensive than £29.99! The Kooples had a similar blouse that was near £180 – it was silk but still seemed over-priced. My recent Whistles sale shoes also got a work premier today, topped off with my Huxley bag and Sheiff & Cherry sunnies!

When I left home I was wearing my boyfriend blazer but as I was enjoying a pre-meeting latte at Carluccios – St Christophers Place; a big pigeon decided to deposit it’s breakfast all over my blazer!! Good job I had it on otherwise I would’ve been in a bit of a mess! I had never seen anything quite like it, just hope the dry cleaners can save my blazer. That bloody pigeon better bring me some luck!
