Browsing through NET-A-PORTER and I noticed they have the J.Crew boy-fit Oxford shirt I purchased early last month. It’s a fab two-tone pink colour block shirt that’s great for layering with a chunky cardigan, but I long to wear it just with trousers when spring finally decides to appear.
This shirt is available now on NET-A-PORTER for £80 but if you head over to J.Crew direct and skim the sale section you can pick it up for the bargain price of £26.06 (ok, £33.07 if you factor in the £7 flat shipping fee to the UK). Here I am trying it on with some Café capri wool pants also from J.Crew, these were £30.39 in the sale also.
If you’re unsure of sizing or don’t want to faff around returning to the US don’t worry as their customer service is amazing as I discovered when I tweeted at them about the Tabby Cat jumper I wanted. After a few tweets, emails and phone calls they actually sourced the jumper for me, not many UK High Street chains would offer that level of customer service.
Can’t wait for J.Crew to open in London later this year…..
Are there any other State-side brands that I should be hunting out for work wear beyond the obvious, do let me know in the comments below.
