Ok so I’d kinda promised myself not to spend any money during the sales and save up to buy some real investment pieces I feel my wardrobe is missing but that plan went out the window! The sales have been too good, and my urge to spend was too strong to control, but I bagged some bargains which I will share over the next couple of days.
First up is my sale buy from The Dressing Room. I’ve been after some low-heeled causal boots for a while and had actually bought two pairs of boots from The Dressing Room before which sadly I had to return as I’ve odd sized feet when it comes to boots! So I was really expecting to send this pair back too, but I went up a size as I remembered I’d heard Hudson boots sometimes come up a little small, especially if you really need a half size like me.
I took my own blog advice and logged on early on the first day of the sale and used the extra 10% off sale code which meant my boots were under £40 – you can’t buy on the High St for that price! This pair are H by Hudson and they are the Riley style in brown leather. The leather is so soft but high quality as you would expect from Hudson, the finish is almost vintage like, these boots look well worn, but in a good way of course.
These boots will be lived in come winter so I will certainly be quids in on a cost per way basis!
